What’s an entry?

Entries are recordings and visual works submitted for Roc Award consideration. Entries that meet all eligibility requirements are then voted on by The Roc Awards Voting Members and the community. The results of that vote are the nominations.

How entries’ are counted?

The first 5 people with the most nominations will help you move on to the voting process. • Even though you may be nominated in the top 5, your work(s) will still be highly considered and reviewed by a voting committee to move on to the public voting stage.

What are the eligibility requirements?

For the 4th Annual Roc Award Awards, media or art must be released between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016. Recordings or works must be released in general distribution in the United States, via the Internet, or mail order/ Recordings must be available for sale from any date within the eligibility period through at least the date of the current year’s voting deadline (final ballot).

Who can vote?

Anyone can vote.

Who qualifies as a Voting Member?

The Voting Panel these may include vocalists, conductors, songwriters, composers, engineers, producers, instrumentalists, arrangers, art directors; album notes writers, narrators, and music video artists and technicians.
