It’s shopping season, it’s holiday season, and it is also most definitely Roc Awards season. The start of the “Nomination” process starts in just SEVEN days. So if you are out there and have put in the hard work, dedication and talent to perfecting your craft in the last year, this is your opportunity to get yourself in the running to be a Roc Awards Nominee. That’s the only way to be up for vote to win an award at the 2015 Roc Awards Show on February 15th, 2015. We are going to breakdown the process for you to get you started….

First, to be eligible for consideration to be a 2015 Roc Award Nominee you MUST have performed, created a product, worked within the field, recorded, OR produced a project related to your category. If you can answer yes to one or more of those, then you can either nominate yourself or be nominated by someone to be recognized at the show.

Second, the Nomination field is open DECEMBER 7TH – JANUARY 15TH . Within that time you need to submit an email to but the format is everything!! In order to even be considered you need the following elements:
-A subject line on the email with your category & the person you are nominating name
-The candidates name & the category in the body of the email

Third, these are your first steps on the way to the Roc Awards. You need to make sure you submit a nomination in order to possibly make it to the voting phase. If you are nominated and chosen to be in the running you become an official NOMINEE. In January the Nominees will be announced and then it’s your job to rally your fans, the public and the whole City of Rochester to visit the Roc Awards website and vote for you in your category. Once voting is shut down and all the votes are counted, join us & all of high society Rochester at the 2015 Roc Awards Show February 15th to see if you will be taking home the 2015 crown.
